As a missionary in the Pennsylvania Philadelphia Mission, my prayers each & every day included a petition to the Lord that that area would be blessed with a Temple. Today, after hundreds of missionaries & members alike have sought for this blessing from the Lord, today President Monson announced 5 new Temples, including one in Philadelphia!
